Mount Eliza Country Charm

This project was designed with the stone water sphere as the central feature, but due to the large size of the bowl there was a concern that it would domineer over the other features of the pool landscape. To prevent this, a decision was made to raise the spa above the height of the pool and build a spillover wet-edge to all 4 sides. This ensured that the bulk of the water feature was balanced out by the height of the spa, whilst the opposing shapes of the two objects maintained the dissimilarity that was the objective of the overall design. The circular stone water feature is carefully positioned between the right angles of the stately home and the raised square spa, creating a yin and yang methodology that balances out the overall design.
