Each room is visible from the terrace, which Pranich describes as “an outdoor garden in the sky.” Redesigning this space to make it warm and comfortable, and also fit for entertaining, presented a challenge for the designer. “The beauty of this apartment is that it has 2,400 square feet of balcony, which I converted to an outdoor garden. So you have the look and feel of a New York loft with a great view; but it’s also like living in a house because you open the door and see a beautiful garden.”
