This 18’0” x 36’0” indoor swimming pool features an 8’0” x 8’0” deck-level hot tub. Both pool and spa have Valders Wisconsin Limestone coping and colored lighting throughout. The room is finished with a beautiful wood ceiling and paneling, and deck drains along with de-humidification systems keep the pool at the perfect temperature and humidity. This pool and hot tub is the perfect antidote to the frigid Midwest winters!
Mike Farley Pool Designer, SWD, ASLAThis is a beautiful natural freeform pool and spa receltly on HGTV located in Dallas, TX. The big thing about this project that was unique was the trees. We were required to save all the trees. There are a lot of areas where the paving is not mortared together to allow moisture and air through to help the trees. There is a 6' elevation change that helps incorporate the boulders and waterfall into the hillside for a more natural look. There was an existing green house that was removed and the existing garage was turned it into a cabana/pool house with a covered area to relax in with furniture by the deep end of the pool. There is a big deep end for lots of activity along with a nice size shallow end for water sports, including basketball. The clients' wish list included a cave, slide, and waterfalls along with a firepit. The cave can comfortably sit 6 people and is cool in the hot Texas weather. We used pockets of plants around to soften things and break up all the rock to create a more natural look with the overall setting. A bridge was built between the pool and the spa to look like an illusion that the water is running from the pool down into the spa. 2013 APSP Region3 Bronze Award - Designed by Mike Farley. Whyte GardensThe brief for this project included three separate areas wrapping around the house. Each area embraces a different function that is reflected in the designs. The main space included an existing pool that was revitalized and matched with new-seated areas and focal points. Although different materials are used, each feature compliments each other and highlights the planting. One of the exciting elements of this project is an evolving feature wall using star jasmine plants and vertical steel wires.
The second space is a small-decked entertaining area, flowing seamlessly from the interior. The main focus is the three corten steel panels with bamboo planting placed behind. The timber decking and the planting creates a relationship with main pool area whilst still having its own identity.

GuncastGuncast were asked to create this elegant indoor pool and spa alongside full health suite facilities which the Guncast experts delivered to the highest quality. This stunning pool measures 18 x 6 metres with an extended shallow end to allow for leisure activities such as volleyball or water polo. The pool is fitted with neck massagers for ultimate luxury and the spa is equipped with high capacity hydrojets and allows for comfortable seating of 5 to 7 people. For a truly opulent spa experience, RGB lighting allows for colour changes and mood setting within the water. The steam room is finished with a mosaic and tadelakt tile which is beautifully complemented by the starry sky ceiling lighting. Along the sauna wall is a full-length air lounger for added relaxation, and the sauna is finished in Kelo wood with concealed bench lighting. The pool and spa have premium finishing touches, such as heated loungers, making this the perfect space to unwind.
