The landscape of this home honors the formality of Spanish Colonial / Santa Barbara Style early homes in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix. By re-grading the lot and allowing for terraced opportunities, we featured a variety of hardscape stone, brick, and decorative tiles that reinforce the eclectic Spanish Colonial feel. Cantera and La Negra volcanic stone, brick, natural field stone, and handcrafted Spanish decorative tiles are used to establish interest throughout the property.
A front courtyard patio includes a hand painted tile fountain and sitting area near the outdoor fire place. This patio features formal Boxwood hedges, Hibiscus, and a rose garden set in pea gravel.
The living room of the home opens to an outdoor living area which is raised three feet above the pool. This allowed for opportunity to feature handcrafted Spanish tiles and raised planters. The side courtyard, with stepping stones and Dichondra grass, surrounds a focal Crape Myrtle tree.
One focal point of the back patio is a 24-foot hand-hammered wrought iron trellis, anchored with a stone wall water feature. We added a pizza oven and barbecue, bistro lights, and hanging flower baskets to complete the intimate outdoor dining space.

With a grill like that, why wouldn't you want to spend all your time outdoors. Great space to host guests. Make the most of your backyard with a personalized grilling area, seating area, and patio. We used earth tones and plenty of flowers to create an open and inviting outdoor area. Stainless steel appliances complete the look, and make this outdoor area the place to be each summer.

Stunning patio features Holland Stone pavers with an inset Mega Arbel circle. For added definition we designed a double soldiers course to surround the inset circle. The built-in grill surround adds definition to the space and the fire pit surrounded by seat walls creates an inviting space for entertaining. ~ Hoffman Estates, IL

You can hear the echo of the craftsman’s tools in the honest lines and rugged texture of Blu. Its simple elegance is both classic and contemporary, the look modern, yet eternal. Vibrant color blends add to the opulence, borrowing from the rarest of natural stones. This is luxury. This is Blu.

The durability and beauty of teak furniture is hard to compare with. This outdoor entertaining space flows seamlessly with the interiors. The outdoor kitchen is part of the overall space rather than separate allowing the counters to serve double duty as a serving table.

Outdoor showers are a sacred ritual of Cape Cod summers, and these spaces are going upscale in materials. Solar night lights allow 24-hour use of the shower, while a separate dressing area with hooks holding beach towels keeps them and clothing dry. A porthole-style window allows the user to discretely glimpse the lake while showering.
