This entry was originally the second apartment's front door before two apartments were combined. This area draws you into the living area by the curving edge of the harlequin designed marble flooring that is repeated in the ceiling soffit. This soffit detail becomes the curving wall that houses the audio/visual equipment and "faux" fireplace. The Venetian plaster treatment on the "fire" wall along with the golden silk drapery treatment lends itself to the idea of a Tuscan sun.
