This is the study and office area for the house, located on the third floor. The cardboard armchair and ottoman were a personal gift from architect Frank Gehry, who worked with Ron on projects in Mexico City, New York and Toronto. The chair is safe now but in a previous era was endangered by the family cat who was drawn to occasionally scratch it. Sofabed is recovered (now in its fourth home) and by Ligne Roset. The cabinetry is built in, and designer Michael Kruse incorporated a Knoll piece of fine wood slats, into the one nearest the window (and another, not seen). Table: Eileen Grey for Knoll
