Plantation Shutters - Custom Made; DIY measure & Install iseekblinds customers

Rebecca Cannons - Basswood Plantation Shutters - Bright White; We have recently built our first house in WA and basically had the shell built and have been slowly but surely getting our DIY on. We had raw calico hanging on our windows for a very long time (so unattractive) until we saved to purchase the plantation shutters. We started with our master bedroom & theatre followed by the windows pictured in our open plan dining/living/kitchen area. We have one window that is waiting for shutters in this space (the window with the grey curtains in the photos) and eventually will get to the rest of the house. These were easy to install especially after watching Michaels videos. We ended up timing ourselves and definitely got the hang of installing them after the first one with timing a lot quicker for the others. Everyone comments on these shutters when they see our house - I love them! Our house isn't fully furnished yet but with the shutters and the flooring completed it feels more like a home. Oh we also laid the wood flooring and painted and the list goes on. You definitely feel a sense of accomplishment when you do it yourself. Our DIY story continues...
