Poolside Natives

Late summer in the side yard; Sedum 'Autumn Joy' in the background with Rudbeckia triloba or Brown Eyed Susan, a floriforous self seeder! In the foreground is the American Purple Beautyberry (Callicarpa americana) and the purple foliage of Monarda. A rain barrel (green, in the background) has been installed to collect rain water for ease of watering newly installed plants and annuals.
