Omayah Atassi Photography Dual colored cabinetry were perfect for the style; combined with a light blue glass tile backslash and a very bright and sophisticated countertop helped create the perfect corner. A lazy Susan, pullout spice insert, tilt out soap tray and hidden rollouts were just some of the accessories in this space. Dimon Designs Mundelein, IL 60060

This project is the renovation of an old Craftsman style single shotgun house. We removed the wall between the kitchen and dining room to open up the space. To hide possible clutter in the Kitchen, we designed and fabricated a low wall between the two spaces, using pre-finished wood flooring as the wall finish on the Dining side of the wall and ceramic pool tiles as the backsplash. We designed and fabricated custom concrete countertops. To enhance the airiness of the spaces, we removed the existing suspended ceiling to expose the high ceilings. We rehabilitated the large old wood windows and installed lightweight cafe curtains throughout the house to capture natural daylighting. photo: Volume Zero LLC

A spacious kitchen designed for a beautiful, new build. The bold, matte orange cabinets and dark grey worktop contrast against the white, clean walls. Making this kitchen stand out from the rest of the room. All storage solutions have been carefully planned and most of the storage is hidden behind doors adding to the spacious feeling of this stunning kitchen.

One of our modern Italian Kitchen projects finished in 2016 for a beautiful contemporary style home on Long Island, NY. The kitchen is from our A-Line Italian products, with a mix of red and white lacquer finish and integrated door handles. Kitchen style, colors and overall design was put together by our in-house designers based on client's vision, giving the home the modern, up-beat and energized feel our client wanted.

This bright new coastal kitchen was part of a remodel project in a dated condominium. The owner chose wood looking tile floors throughout. A large, underutilized laundry room was divided in half and a walk-in pantry was created next to the kitchen. Because space was at a premium, a sliding barn door was used. We chose a more coastal looking louvered door. The cabinets originally were light oak which we had painted. The aqua glass subway tile adds a translucent water affect and the Cambria countertops and waterfall side finish the look with a high degree of sparkle.

Owners of this Shoreview home needed to update their kitchen to better fit their families sustainable life style. By removing two walls and adding a South facing bay window, the new space feels bright and inviting. The spacious kitchen allows for multiple persons to be in the kitchen comfortably without stepping on anyone’s toes. Adding functionality and seating space, the new island also provides additional counter space for food prep. The island features an open book shelf for cook books and two pull out drawers that hide both trash and recycling receptacles. Keeping with the earth-conscious theme, the homeowners chose recycled glass countertops in two contrasting color selections. The kitchen and dining were highlighted with energy star rated blue accent pendants and sleek ceiling fan. New oak hardwood floors were installed on the main level and stairs that bring warmth into the space. The entry way was refreshed with new natural Marmoleum flooring that accent the colors of the kitchen. The homeowners now have a home they will be able to enjoy for many years to come. As is always the case, we design kitchens in a way where they are as practical as possible. We worked in order to ascertain how our clients would use their space, and ensured we designed their kitchen in a way which was natural their ways of cooking and entertaining. A variety of storage solutions were used to make this possible.
