Silk Road

A view from the open plan dining room to the main staircase and entry. The staircase features custom wrought iron railings with brick treads and mosaic tile risers. The space under the staircase is used as a closet/storage and is accessed from adjoining room. The floor tiles are locally made thin glazed bricks traditionally used to build ovens.
