Stone Court

The Owners asked us to create a classically inspired stone house to complement the architecture on Blackstone Boulevard in Providence. They wanted to incorporate a lot of detail in the house to quietly reinforce the sense of luxury. The L shaped footprint of the house creates a private backyard for outdoor living. The design features ellipses and elliptical curves as an overall theme. Stone is also used on the interior floors and in the entry hall to add texture to the interiors. Skylight hidden behind frosted glass panels and at the apex of the Great Room flood the spaces with light. Custom cabinetwork was designed by Mary Brewster.
