This kitchen features dark hardwoods floors, white cabinets, and a slim backsplash tile. The white cabinets and white countertops help the backsplash and the roman shades to stand out and create a focal point in the space. During the day, natural lighting is the primary source of light, but there are also recessed incandescent lights, pendant lighting above the sink, and undercabinet lighting that helps to accent both the backsplash and the countertop.
