Surf Shack

The concept behind this design was to recreate the ‘laid back’ feeling of the old surf shacks, with enough refinement to make it comfortable. Downstairs, bedroom windows have been carefully positioned to allow bunkbeds for the kids on holidays and some of the internal frames have been left exposed and painted to create a very informal and relaxed feel. Simple particle board sheet floors have been sanded and clear coated. The living area ceilings have been clad in clear sealed plywood sheet which adds to the rustic charm.
