Timeless Kitchens San Francisco

The homeowners of this Palo Alto home are from India and love to entertain large groups of friends and family. Their kitchen required lots of buffet-style countertop space for laying out a cornucopia of savory dishes. A large cooktop, double ovens, pantry and fridge also enable food to abound. The transition from the kitchen tiles to the wood flooring throughout the rest of the home was easily delineated by the start of the peninsula and the end of the fridge. The floating open shelves create a smooth transition from the work space to the entertainment area. Even though there is a skylight in the kitchen and quite a few windows as well as patio doors going to the back yard, the Northeastern exposure didn’t bring in a ton of light. As a result, we chose Qtr Teak veneer cabinetry to stay on the lighter side and provide a warm and inviting environment.
