My client wanted to accomplish three things with this gazebo. One they wanted some privacy since they had a walking path behind them. Second goal was to have some coverage from the intense sun. So we had the awning custom made to fit over the top of the metal Gazebo. The third goal was to have something that could allow the wind to come through. To accomplish that we designed these decorative panels that have a rod pocket on the top and the bottom to keep them from blowing in the wind. Each panel has grommets inset to allow the wind to pass through. We also added a contrast band of the awning fabric on each side of the panels to blend the two treatments together.
