Traditional Country Garden, Fryerning Essex

A large, country garden in need of some TLC. Although our clients had a full time gardener, the landscape lacked colour, structure and spatial design. The space was divided into a series of gardens that took you on a journey. The White garden with reclaimed red brick courtyard led you into the different areas. Obelisks and a central bronze sundial added focal points. The Mediterranean garden, flanked by an existing high red brick wall allowed tender plants to be placed here due to the reflective and stored heat from the wall. Edged by white flowering Hyrdangea Annabel and two archways of Trachylospermeum Jasminoides. The Woodland Walk in the partial shaded area gave way to Rhododendrons, Camelias, Ferns and Helebores. Tulips were also added by the thousand to give high impact through Spring. Returning back towards the house, through the summer borders and a dazzling display of colour, clipped box topiary and the small Rose Garden.
