Traditional Efficiency

While designing this kitchen, the client was attending culinary school and had aspirations of starting a catering business. She wanted a tight and efficient space that was comfortable to cook in but was also open and inviting. Special details like a double-thick granite top on the island, mullion glass cabinet doors that mimic the mullion glass door to the dining room, and a raised panel door on the cabinets that repeat the wainscot detail found throughout the house all serve to make this kitchen fit right in.
