Very small U-shaped kitchen in West San Jose, CA

Tiny U-shaped kitchen with an "appliance" challege: owners wished to keep their existing white refrigerator and white gas range. We actually had to find the exact finish for the painted maple panel chey chose for the cabinetry. Putting an integrated wood panel on the front of the dishwasher did the trick - the dishwasher "disappeared", the microwave got hidden under the upper cabinets. We drew attention to cabinetry enhancements instead: decorative split legs on the sink cabinet, varying heights on the upper cabinets above the range, decorative glass inserts in both wall corner cabinets, custom end panel on the pots and pans drawers.
