Vintage River Cottage

Before any project, but especially before a full indoor and outdoor renovation, I start with asking the client what they love about the house and what they don’t. Both are very important questions and so interesting to hear the answers. The client turned to me and said “I hate the house. I don’t like how it looks. I don’t like the floor plan, and I want to be relaxing here next summer in my new, gorgeous river house.” I thought, okay, let’s do this. Photography by Brian McCloud
