Whitford Deck & Native planting

Lynn Cairney, Fusion Landscape Design - Design, Plant Procurement and implementation, Project Overseeing. Robson Builders - Deck construction. Slightly mounded garden between the three decked areas. The planting has only just been completed. These garden areas split and help to create separation between different areas of the expansive deck which the clients wanted all one level. We also raised the height of the outer edge of the lawn area to give a greater sense of lawn area and a cleaner line. The nikau palms are all relatively close to the house to create framing for the expansive views and dividing this view. They also provide a more intimate feel.
