Bolt of Cloth is a Christchurch based family business. Established in 2009, we lost our store and offices in the 2011 earthquake but those difficult times have led to the colourful and inventive business you see today. Bolt of Cloth has two retail stores in Christchurch and one in Newmarket, Auckland, where we sell a large range of Scandinavian and New Zealand cushions, homewares and fabrics from iconic brands like Marimekko. In addition to our retail stores, we also offer an Interior Design service where we specialise in soft furnishings and custom made curtains, blinds and window treatments. Bolt of Cloth has a local workroom where we tailor make curtains & blinds, cushions, squabs, lampshades, bean bags and more from any of our hundreds of fabrics. We will support your interior projects by providing as little or as much interior design advice as you need in our own unpretentious way. If you live close to one of our stores we can come to your home to measure your windows and offer interior design advice - and if you're living somewhere more exotic than us than we can offer you the same great advice using emails and the phone.
