Poor quality workmanship, an estimated 3 month project took 9+ months. It’s over a year since our condo reno was “completed” and the toilets have not been working properly since they were removed to put down new flooring. We hired a plumber to fix the problem and one of the issues he found was that a flange was broken. He said it was probably broken when the toilets were re-installed. There were several other issues that he found, which makes us wonder if Brecan actually had a qualified plumber do the work.

Brecan Homes completed a major renovation to our home in 2014. The design, critical path scheduling, quality and completion of construction, contract costing was completed to our satisfaction. The contractor suggested several upgrades outside the contract that enhanced the overall result. Communication with Brecan staff and sub contractors was very good. I enjoyed working with Brecan on this project and would recommend Brecan Homes for similar projects.

Good selection of products on show. Knowledgable, thoughtful and efficient staff. They were very understanding of my budgets. Building a home on budget is important to me and my family, i could not do this without the hard work put in from Brecan homes and its staff. I have been pleasantly surprised by the quotes and the whole package delivered by Brecan compared to other local competitors in Fernie. They back it up with a high quality finish from installers and advice throughout the process. Thank you Brecan Homes my family and I appreciate everything you have done for us and for the future.

Brecan was a pleasure to work with when the time came to remodel our old family bathroom. This was my first time designing a bathroom and there was more to it than I thought. Darla Saunders guided me through the process and put up with all my questions. They had an excellent selection of items to choose from. As a result I have a much nicer bathroom that I thought possible on our conservative budget. I am very pleased with the end result.

Brecan did kitchen upgrades in our 17 unit apartment block. They were very professional from the start to the finish of the project. They supplied top quality products, installed, at a price no retailer could touch with an uninstalled quote. The job was completed on time and budget with an absolute minimum of disruption to the tenants. We were very satisfied with their work at all levels.

Did a wonderful job on our new cabin, and provided lots of insight into color scheme, flooring, windows, etc. I love my wood flooring, rustic and doesn't show every little spec of dirt. The kitchen cupboards are very good quality...better than the ones I have in my house. They even stayed within budget!

Brecan has been our supplier of choice for several years and it has been a very rewarding, professional, and friendly experience. All our requests for material, information, and support have been handled in a very efficient and considerate manner.

Ended up working with Brecan on my house project, but not by choice. They hijacked my order from a supplier I was working with and my order arrived 100% wrong. Totally unprofessional and a massive headache to deal with the manufacturer to make the windows work.

Mr Robbins played the same manufacturer against two dealers. He was duplicitous in the address provided to the US-based dealer - who should not be selling that product into Canada.
Nevertheless, in order that he could have a warrantied product in Canada we offered him exactly the same pricing as the US-based dealer - also saving him the hassle of going down to the US to collect the product. The fact that he was unable to organize the rough openings with the manufacturer's Regional Sales manager (as he would not deal with us directly) is little to do with Brecan.
We are disappointed that Mr Robbins feels as he does, with over $2 million in contract sales we will always have a few disappointed customers but we strive to improve each week; this project was 4 years ago. We have sold over 10 house window packages since then, from a range of manufacturers, we stand by our products and make every effort to correct any mistakes in the ordering process.

Commented: Table or island?Rectangular, round? Loveseat ,chair,rug color??I should note the flooring here is the Divine Flooring "De-Fleurs" from their Farmhouse line; it is a beautiful flooring that provides a reclaimed look.
