Professional Information

Davide Groppi began creating lamps in the late 1980s, in a small workshop in the old centre of Piacenza, northern Italy. Over the following thirty years he has received numerous important awards, including two ADI Compasso d’Oro Awards in 2014 and an honourable mention in 2016, as he has taken his brand all over the world, illuminating private houses, apartment buildings and gardens, tables at some of the most famous restaurants and works of art in the largest museums. Davide Groppi has always distinguished itself for its creative and entrepreneurial independence, developing unique products that are immediately recognisable on the market: lamps and light solutions in which simplicity, weightlessness, emotion, invention and amazement are the most important components.
