U&I Home Decorating recently completed a major design and remodeling project in my home. I must say I was extremely satisfied with the results. I had a pretty good idea what I wanted to achieve but had no idea how much better it would turn out, due to the efforts of the U&I team. When I started my search for a contractor, I knew I was looking for a one-stop design and build solution. From color-matched renderings on to the scope of work, all of my requests were accommodated. Early in the remodeling, Deborah’s team maintained a clean site and the workers and subs were held to high standards. The time and attention to detail put in on the design side with flooring, colors, paint, cabinets, additions, etc., were outstanding all completed under budget!! I can’t wait to call U&i for my next remodel project!

Deborah Lutz with U & I Design transformed my home. I loved working with Deborah on my project. She listened carefully to my needs, helped me to think things through in ways I wouldn't have and added her own refinement to the mix. She has an amazing knack for detail and with all of her creative architectural ideas; it far exceeded what I ever expected. Our kitchen is so unique; I know there is not another one out there like it and is far more functional than before. From start to finish she drafted, designed, managed and completed my kitchen remodel in the agreed time frame. My home is truly beautiful. U & I Design team is amazing.

Deb Lutz developed an interior design plan, and then acted as the general contractor for major redesign/refurbishment/modernization of my riverfront home. She created space and design that was compatible with the existing structure, but completely filled the house with light and brought the outside in. Her design was creative (and beautiful) and her execution was detailed and perfect. She followed up on every detail, and delivered everything she promised on time and in budget. This was a major project (about $100K) and she gave me interim reports including work progress and conformance with budget. She additionally found ways to delight, preserving antique doorknobs rather than buying new ones, using tile she found in the attic to match a new hearth and bathroom to existing spaces ... making the redesigned house look like it had all been built at the same time. I have worked with contractors many times on several houses. I can't recommend anyone more strongly than I recommend Deb Lutz.

Thoroughly enjoyed working with Deborah - worked with her on four projects with different design style and themes - all thoughtfully and uniquely designed. She is budget conscious and completes on schedule. Above all, she has extraordinary patience and adjusts to schedule and concepts as the jobs dictate.

Deborah is really great at figuring out what you like and don't like... she has a great eye and provides really helpful insight as to how to make the most of your budget.
