Greg worked closely with my family during design to explore our options and get us what we needed. The finished project is a testimony to Greg' professionalism.

The project was design and construction of a new house on property along a river. I had a general concept for a river-focused layout and contemporary rural aesthetic. Greg totally understood the concept and turned it into a uniquely handsome, cohesive and functional design. We collaborated on the big ideas and small details throughout the process. Greg always provided me with interesting alternatives based on his research and thoughtful approach. This is a second home, so I was more interested in getting it done right rather than getting it done fast. Greg was also my builder, which ensured design consistency and high quality in the construction. I am very happy with the result, and enjoy that my family and friends consider the house a true destination for weekends. I named the house 'Alvhem,' which is Swedish for 'river home.' I highly recommend Greg Torchio.

I have work with Torchio Architects on projects requiring civil engineering and land surveying since they opened the firm. I have also had Greg and Joanne design my 24'x 60' machine shop and had them on several occasions design improvements to my residence. They have performed project management services and follow-up inspections to ensure the work was done to their professional standards. All jobs were well done and Greg and Joanne were extremely attentive to my and my wife's needs and expectations.
