Jennifer and Gene at Backyard Specialist were outstanding to work with. They are experts in the field and shared their knowledge and ideas with us to achieve a fabulous outdoor kitchen and fire pit. They ordered and installed the outdoor kitchen, grill and fire pit kit to make our patio a favorite spot to entertain and relax in our new home. We highly recommend working with Backyard Specialist.

From start to finish they helped us outline our project, order the necessary materials, and then handled troubleshooting issues and installation beautifully. Our space looks fabulous and we appreciated their attention to detail and trustworthy nature throughout our process.

It has been a pleasure working with Gene and Jennifer on building and installing a Gas Barbeque Brick Stove in our backyard. We have looked for a long time to find a dependable and reliable company for this project. We have had a few false starts until we got a recommendation to try Backyard Specialist. The project was not only done on time but within the estimate cost that we agreed to at the beginning of the project. We even changed the design of the brick by adding a band to match the look of the house and that was done with no added cost. The Brick structure is amazing, we are still getting complement from our neighbors about it. The countertop is in granite not just a slab of concrete as the previous company wanted to use and the Stove fit in perfectly. We have been recommending Backyard Specialist to people we have invited for a BBQ at our house. Very pleased and happy with our decision to use Backyard Specialist for this project and we will use them again in the future.

Jennifer designed an outdoor kitchen for our newly constructed home and Gene installed everything, including a custom made grill vent which he made himself, to direct the smoke from grilling away from our house. Jennifer was very attentive to what I wanted and gave me several options of cabinetry, hardware and countertops to choose from. They do beautiful, quality work quickly and at a reasonable price. Both Jennifer and Gene are a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them.

Backyard Specialist delivered a perfect turn key job for the 2017 Southern Living Idea House under a very tight timeline and challenging location for install. Jennifer and Gene were the utmost professionals, offering project suggestions/ideas, and providing a variety of product lines to select from. The outdoor fire pit, kitchen and grill area has been a huge hit with visitors to the Idea House, from the cabinetry used to the grill and accessories that were selected - this is totally due to Jennifer and Gene's commitment to excellence. We wanted to add a custom outdoor kitchen to a new home. The other companies we contacted wanted to push their standard prefab cabinets and limited lines of products that didn't match our vision. Backyard Specialist custom designed marine polymer cabinetry around the appliances that we wanted. They took extra time to ensure that the design met our expectations. They acquired the appliances and the granite countertops and installed everything for us. Gene and Jennifer did a wonderful job with the entire project. Highly Recommended!
