Pat Kelly and I have collaborated on two major renovations and one complete house-build. Pat builds to the highest standards and quality and brings to the table a right brain filled with creativity to inspire uniqueness as well as problem solving. Pat's focus on cost control brought all projects in at cost or below. There are no surprise billings with Pat. He is disciplined about handling change orders and assures a solid communication on additional charges for same. Pat is confident enough in his space to allow and encourage close collaboration throughout the project.

We have used Kelly Builders for a number of projects since we purchased our Isle of Palms house in June 2014. At the time of purchase, we knew there were delayed maintenance issues with the house. Kelly's first project included remediating several of these issues, including a new roof and painting. Also at this time, he converted the screen porch at the rear of the house into an indoor den / solarium. Later, Kelly did a second major project to further expand the back of the house to allow for a kitchen expansion. At this time he renovated the expanded kitchen area and built a new rear deck with a patio area underneath. He also installed additional floor bracing under the house and built an enclosed golf cart parking space. We plan to use Kelly for a bathroom renovation project later this year. We have found Pat Kelly to be honest and trustworthy and we have always been pleased with the quality of the work. His crew is neat and personable and we are comfortable with them having access to our house, whether or not we are in residence.

My wife and I purchased a home built by Pat Kelly and his crew on Carolina Blvd., on the Isle of Palms (SC) nine years ago and have loved it in every way and have enjoyed working with Pat every year since to keep the property in pristine condition. I had the most incredible experience in dealing with Pat Kelly of Kelly Builders on my remodel. He went above and beyond in working with me to complete the architectural and structural design of my renovation. He has a keen eye for interior design as well so I relied on that talent to support the finishing touches. He was professional, high quality of work, met all the deadlines and has a crew that was so respectful of our house and property. I highly recommend Kelly Builders for your building and renovation projects.

Commented: Tiniest “master” bathYou could open up the shower wall, and replace with a sliding glass door. That wall with the tiny entry makes the shower size feel very small. A glass door system will allow lots of light in reflect...
