Laura Bloom is a high quality interior designer with very good customer service and professional manner. I love her designs, and she made a large project far easier (and way better) than it would have been had we attempted it on our own.

I just love Laura's design. The work was well planned and I loved the finished product. Her team communicated well and they always listened to my concerns. I would highly recommend this company for any remodeling job. I had an unfinished basement and now I have an awesome in-law suite.

We worked with Laura and her crew for a build out of our basement. From the moment she walked through our door we hit it off. She asked a lot of questions about our style and looked around our home just to get a feel of where we wanted to go with the build out! When I say she nailed it would be an understatement! We love the cozy Tuscan feel and the warmth that she gave the space. We had her build a game area and then a more adult area with the most beautiful wine cellar you have ever seen!! Everyone we worked with throughout the project from the General Contractor, Scott Carver to the men framing, painting, doing electrical work, plumbing, installation of flooring and furniture were very professional and courteous! They kept the work site clean and we could not have been more pleased. We especially were impressed with the millwork and the special artist brought in to do columns and tile work. They are the focal point of the area and are absolutely beautiful!! We are so proud of the results and are looking forward to working with Laura on the remodel of our kitchen later this year! Laura Bloom oversaw a large basement remodeling project from start to finish. Starting with rough ideas from me and my husband, Laura measured spaces and quickly produced a raft of ideas on overall design and details. Her suggestions on color palettes, fabrics, furnishings, fixtures, and other features were creative and tasteful. The project ultimately required painting, rugs, cabinets, shelves, wood trim, and new light fixtures. Laura contracted out each phase of the work and oversaw it to completion. Construction proceeded very smoothly. The project was completed with furnishings and accessories that Laura helped select from the wide variety of vendors and styles she carries in her retail store. Laura was a pleasure to work with. She was professional, reliable, personable, and fun. She gave us thoughts and opinions and kindly respected our ultimate decisions. The completed space is warm and beautiful. We commend Laura and her team enthusiastically.

Working with Laura at Home Expressions has been a wonderful experience. We needed a complete remodel of the old kitchen in our newly purchased house. We knew we wanted to use Laura for the project, as we’ve seen her work in others’ homes and were very impressed. She was able to incorporate everything I wanted into the design in terms of both function and aesthetics, which I’m sure was not easy given the size and shape of the space we had to work with. When I changed my mind about some of the details throughout the process, Laura handled everything wonderfully, and was able to guide me through the array of choices to a fantastic result. The contractors she worked with were excellent. Everyone was professional, punctual, and did a very nice job. The project was right on budget, and was completed quickly and efficiently. The entire process was a lot of fun and pretty painless, which we owe to Laura. The end result is that we have an incredible, highly functional kitchen that looks like it belongs in a design magazine, and the value of our house has taken an upward leap. I’d recommend Laura without any hesitation, and we will certainly be using her again for future projects in our home.

I have worked with Laura Bloom on two different homes. She is a very talented designer and has great people skills. Laura has the ability to look at a space and put together ideas/plans that incorporate my preferences for the room. I have furniture pieces that are very meaningful to me. She has been able to work them into our new living space seamlessly. Her staff is very helpful and the showroom is fun to visit. I will use her again in the future. There is no one better.

Laura was wonderful and very patient with any problems that may have occurred. Who follow up and coordination was perfect. Communication was open for any time of day. She understands one's taste and works on complementing all decor in house. She is truly a nice person to work with as well.

I enjoyed meeting Laura after a friend of mine recommended her to me. I had anticipated a great working relationship. I was shocked at the unprofessionalism that followed. The problems were rampant with her husband Bobby's painting services. The work he did as a painter was unprofessional, unfinished and he lacked any ability to follow directions or finish the job. Laura did not listen to my complaints or try to rectify the situation. She took up her husband's position to get more money for unfinished work and placed a contractors lien on my property.

We had our master bath and a Jack and Jill bathroom remodeled. The work was done on time and at budget. The finished bathrooms are absolutely beautiful. They could be shown in House Beautiful. We are beyond pleased. I can recommend Laura at Home Expressions without reservation.

My husband and I were finally ready to remodel our home, with the help from this website we came across Home Expressions. I immediately wanted her, she had everything we were looking for. The project took about two months for everything to be completed. Before any walls were knocked down Laura really took her time in making sure we loved everything that was about to happen, even with the smallest of details. The crew that she works with is outstanding! Laura goes above and beyond what is needed and wants to make sure that her client is happy. When my husband and I are ready to have basement done, she is the one we will call.
