This letter of recommendation pertains to Select Construction, LLC. Recently, my husband and I decided to renovate our 19-year old home. We set out to add a family room (28’ x 22’) to the back of the house and to completely renovate our kitchen. We interviewed 6 general contractors and decided that Andrew Mastronunzio of Select Construction, LLC would be the best fit for us. What impressed us the most about Andrew was that he showed up at the initial consultation meeting with his laptop and was able to provide a rough design which incorporated our ideas. Having a visual while explaining the scope of the project made a huge difference. Additionally, Andrew was prompt, extremely thorough, knowledgeable, easy to work with, and courteous (he even took off his shoes at the front door!). After the listening to our ideas at the initial design meeting, Andrew was able to generate a detailed spreadsheet, which broke down the job into tasks and provided a fairly accurate cost structure. The spreadsheet came in handy whenever a payment was requested. During the entire construction/remodeling job, Andrew kept us informed of any delays or issues. Whenever we had a question, he immediately responded with a thorough, well-thought-out answer or solution to a problem. He made himself available via phone, e-mail, and text. One example of Andrew’s integrity is when he ordered our fireplace unit and discovered it was backordered by 2 weeks. Instead of delaying our project, he upgraded our unit to one that was in stock at no charge to us. All of the subcontractors that Andrew chose were professional and courteous. They showed up on time, performed their tasks well, worked well together, and had a great deal of respect for Andrew. At no time did I feel unsafe having them in my home. The foreman, Marty Osga, is a huge asset to the Select Construction team. He is knowledgeable about all aspects of building, he is well-respected by the workers, and he is very easy to talk to, especially when issues arose. In closing, we highly recommend Andrew Mastronunzio and the entire Select Construction team for any remodeling/building project.

If you want a company who can do it ALL ..... A perfectionist ..... With the Knowledge, ideas, contacts and has a respect for his clients .... It is Select Construction, LLC. Our relationship started with an email & inquires about a total redo of our kitchen for our town house we just purchased. It ended up with a total remodel. New kitchen with Farmers sink & Granite counters, hardwood floors throughout the first floor ...... porcelain tile floors, new sinks & cabinets & Wayne's coating in the bathrooms ..... New doors throughout & hardware, new lighting, new rugs & all walls painted ..... When it was all done we were like family. Therefore, I cannot say enough .... If you don't pick Select Construction, LLC ...... You will regret it!

I hired Select Construction for a $15,000 roofing project on the house I recently purchased. As it was a foreclosed property, the roof and surrounding trim and siding pieces were a complete mess. Andrew, the owner of the company, met with us and provided us with several options for the project (he wanted to make sure that he had a solution that would fit within our budget and goals for the property). He arrived at our house on time and was very professional. Rare to see a contractor arrive in khaki pants and a polo shirt. After providing us with several options, my wife and I decided to do a complete roofing job (they removed the old shingles and all of the junk that was underneath due to what looked like several shoddy roofing jobs done before this one). Select Construction completed the roof and replaced all of the rotted trim boards with AZEK boards that we don't have to paint. Overall I am very satisfied with Select Construction's quality of work and the timeliness in which they completed it. If I am going to spend $15,000 on a project I want to know that the company I hire is going to complete the job as promised, in the timeframe they promised, and with a high quality of craftsmanship. I would definitely hire Select Construction again.
