Kaye Fleming Design

I've hired Kaye Fleming for 20 years to help me with decor at my special event design business. She brings fresh ideas to the table and has a very sophisticated taste level. We work under tight schedules and stay in budget producing high style events in Napa and San Francisco and she always helps me stay organized. I've referred her to high profile clients and wineries for interior design and display projects and they are always thrilled with the results. Kaye is.....awesoom!

Creating custom hand painted finishes commercially and residentially for 20+ years I have had the opportunity to work with Kaye Fleming Design on several projects from hand painted metallic wall finishes to faux bois treatments. Kaye has a great sensibility with a keen eye for style and color. She knows intuitively what will look best and fulfill the client's needs right from the start and can easily convey her ideas to me so we can get going. She has been an inspiration teaching me that something that seems difficult to execute can actually be easily achieved. We enjoy shopping for paints together and creating ideas for laying colors and patterns in new ways and discussing design in general. I always have a good time working with Kaye and I know her clients do too! Kaye's awesome!

This is the third design project and second full home Kaye Fleming has designed/decorated for me, and I love this one as much as I did the last! Kaye has the ability to really understand how to bring out the best in a home and translate my ideas into reality. Each has felt like a sanctuary for me. In the previous project we did full kitchen, bath and living room remodeling and chose new furniture, custom rugs, appliances, tile, fixtures, basically everything, but Kaye also included my collection of family antiques and artwork so it felt very personal. The result was elegant yet inviting and comfortable. This time around I wanted a more casual, lighter feeling, like a beach style and Kaye really made that happen by using a soft pallet of whites and sandy colors, raw silk, soft linens, white marble and blue accents. She helped me choose which items to keep from my previous home and mixed them with new pieces so it felt completely new - but still like my personal style. Kaye has immense knowledge of the design process and resources. She has managed contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to keep everything on track for me, but it's her sense of style and vision that truly makes the difference. Oh, yes, and we've become friends through the process. This may be the last time I move, but if it's not, I will definitely be calling on Kaye for another design adventure together!
