About Us

I am a student of color, texture, and light. This is how I see the world. I am passionate about my art form. My goal is not only to design a space that functions well, but is comfortable and renews the spirit. Commercial clients enjoy design solutions with Jackson Interiors that communicate their corporate philosophy and brand. Design evolves with all my clients. As an artist, I enjoy interpreting the stages of their lives and working patiently to make that room, office, or building truly unique and special. I had a whole house (4 bedroom) decorating project. The challenge was to create space in which we could both live and entertain. Susan was outstanding; she has a great sense of color and textures and is very easy to work with. She brought me color and fabric choices that were fantastic. The trade people she brought in (painters, upholsterers, furniture makers, etc) were all top notch. I highly recommend Susan, a truly talented professional.

We have been working with Susan Jackson of Jackson Interiors for approximately 8 years. We contacted her to help us design and remodel our 100 plus year old house, with our most recent remodel being our kitchen. Ms. Jackson is the utmost professional. Her knowledge and experience are most evident along with her great sense of style. We enjoy living in our home that she has helped us create. Ms. Jackson is also sensitive to our budget restrictions, always giving us options with respect to cost along with design. I have worked with Susan for many years and many projects. Susan is so talented and very easy and fun to work with. Over the years, she has designed a study area, completely decorated our bedroom, helped with kitchen design for a complete remodel and has found many samples of wonderful fabrics that I've used for reupholstering, window treatments, pillows and other soft goods and has found lots of furniture selections to choose from. Susan has a terrific knack of understanding our tastes and complementing existing decor with new and updated style. Susan has also been aware and respectful of our spending budget at the time of each project.

Susan Jackson of Jackson Interiors is the consummate professional. She has provided interior design services for us for seven houses now. Her ability to select options matching the home and the taste of homeowners is exceptional and she always seems one step ahead of the market when it comes to colors and fabric selections. I consulted with Susan to update my dining room and had a great experience. I wanted to be pretty involved in the process and listened really well to my initial ideas. She took what I had to say and guided me with suggestions, helping me to avoid some costly mistakes. She came up with a variety of choices for me to pick from in the design including floor and wall coverings, fabrics, and furniture, and brought me samples of everything. She suggested reliable vendors for the things that needed to be purchased separately and followed up with those vendors and kept on top of delivery dates. She made the process easy and it turned out beautiful.

Commented: bathroom detailsThe color on the wall is actually a blue wallpaper. I don't remember the brand name, but found it at the Cincinnati Design Center.

Commented: what color paint is that?This is a versatile neutral, because depending on the light it will appear more golden or more beige, but it is enough color to contrast against whites and bolder colors.

Commented: PLEASE HELP!! What grout color?I have not had that problem. Did you look at the tile before the installation and notice any unevenness? Sometimes, the subsurface is the problem.
