About Us

Upscale Country opened in 2005 initially under the name "Our Place - Home Decor & Gifts" to bring style and comfort to homes in Southeast Kansas. The Victorian style home was a "non-traditional" store setting that attracted loyal customers from a four state area. In 2009 we expanded to a larger location and changed our name to "Upscale Country - Fine Home Furnishings & Gifts". Along with these changes we also expanded our product lines to include Food items, Handbags, Scarves, our very popular "tween" line and much more. In addition, we now have the capability to offer In-Home consultation, Party Planning Assistance, as well as a location to rent for hosting your own events.

Upscale Country decorated my studio apartment for Christmas when I was selected to be on the Holiday Homes tour that year. They did a remarkable job. Quick, creative, cost effective, etc. I would hire them again in a second!

They have a delightful array of products that are unique and tasteful. I usually go to purchase a gift and leave with several extra items for myself as well! Their customer service is exceptional - if they don't have a particular product you want or the quantity of an item you want, they go above and beyond to try to find the item(s) for you from other vendors. They are respectful of helping you stay within your budget and give accurate timelines for when products will be available.

Very professional and a pleasure to work with! They have a great selection of items and if they don't have what you are looking for, they are always happy to find it for you! They give great tips and try and use what you have to keep cost down. Would recommend every time!!

Upscale Country did a great job with helping get ideas of how to update my living room. They helped me choose a color and also gave me ideas of what to put on the walls that would help make the room more cozy.
