“Shadiworks remodeled the top floor of our historic home, converting one dark and oversized bedroom into two bright rooms, with ample closet space, built-in bookshelves, and a number of really beautiful and useful architectural features. The designs were incredibly creative, making brilliant use of the space. Shadi also kept in close touch with us and the contractor as the work was ongoing, making things run incredibly smoothly. “we asked rafe for ideas and estimates for a number of different projects and scenarios in our home. he had wonderful problem solving ideas balanced with a great design aesthetic and worked hard to keep things within then budget that we gave him. the work was in our kitchen so we left the house and upon returning to the finished project.....skimcoating ceiling, installing light fixtures, replacing sink and countertop, installing stove hood, etc......we were really pleased with the work that was done. clean, sharp edges and finishing touches were one of my favorite details. there was one minor mistake made in the placement of a light fixture but rafe pointed it out to us before we could mention it and had it taken care of by the next day. wonderful experience, highly recommended. we would work with rafe again without hesitation and plan to!!”

“Robert was a professor, a mentor and now also a collegue at this point. From the fundamentals of design and basic drafting and free hand drawing to learning to think like an archtiect, Robert was there for both Marvin and I throughout our educations and beyond. A true artist, everything from a handwritten note left on your desk to the framed pieces of his work we showcase in our own office are works of art. He clearly left an impression on us when it comes to paying attention to the details even if it is just your handwriting on a post-it. The other thing Robert instilled in us is the importance of listening without judgement. He was and is always willing to just sit in listen to your ideas and dilemas.
