Organon Architecture

We do both residential and educational work -- both new and renovation. Inspired by architects like Frank Lloyd Wright, Bruce Goff, Claude Megson, John Lautner & Richard Neutra -- and by the common sense ideas described in Sarah Susanka's 'Not So Big House' -- our new houses aim to 'put you in possession of this earth,' integrating home with site and with the way you live. We aim to make a house for you that you never want to leave! In our renovations our aim is the same, only here we generally work with the patterns of the existing house to make our additions as seamless and 'surgical' as we can. Bungalow renovations are a particular love: working with the grammar of the 1920s Bungalow to make a modern family home is our 'go-to' work. Whether new or renovation, we like to make each home unique and anew, to fit your own personality, site and the way you live. In the way Bruce Goff used to put it, "we aim to do what you would do for yourself if you were a good architect."
