“Capitol Restorations completed the mold remediation at my house and did an overall fantastic job. I needed to rent out my house and needed the mold remediated within a short period of time. This was my first time experiencing the effects of mold in a house. I received estimates from three businesses before making my choice. I had a conversation with the owner of the company who was well mannered and extremely knowledgeable on mold issues. We scheduled a time to meet and look over the work within a few days. After meeting with Capitol, I had an estimate within a couple days. I worked with the owner over the next couple weeks to answer the large amount of questions I had about the process. He did not become irritated even one time throughout all the edits that were made to the contract. I knew exactly what I was going into and Capitol knew my expectations. The price was very reasonable for the work being completed. Capitol Restorations completed the mold remediation within a week. No debris or other waste was left behind. The area that the mold remediation was performed was dry and no odor was present. A couple days later I received the independent lab results to show that the air quality was where it should be. The experience I had with Capitol was wonderful and I highly recommend them for any mold remediation projects you need completed.”

“Keith and the crew at Atlantic Environmental provided us the highest level of service. When we purchased our house, environmental testing revealed slightly elevated mold levels in the basement and main floor. We obtained quotes from Atlantic and from one other contractor. The other contractor's bid was lower but they proposed more of a band-aid approach. Keith encouraged us to do a more comprehensive remediation; he told us from experience that anything less would fail to address the problem. We decided to take Keith's advice even if it would cost a little more upfront. We're so glad we did: Atlantic's team uncovered tons of hidden mold that the other guy would have just covered over. Throughout the process, Keith and his crew were professional, friendly, and bent over backwards to do the job right. Highly recommended.”

“RTS not only did a great job remediating mold that had accumulated near our HVAC system (for a very fair price) but they also made several recommendations on preventing future growth AND came back to our townhouse (free of charge) to troubleshoot and solve an unrelated problem that we had with our A/C. Not only that... they painted a bathroom door that had a bit of mold, replaced its rusty hinges, and added a door stop. We were so grateful they offered to solve these additional problems since we are trying to get our townhouse ready for tenants while we are living overseas. Their customer service could not have been better and their responsiveness is incredible!”

“My wife and I attended a seminar put on by Retro Fit Baltimore, non-profit that seeks to help homeowners reduce energy consumption and expense. We live in a 1920's rowhouse and knew that it could probably use some upgrades to improve it's energy efficiency. At the seminar we were offered a home energy assessment with a blower door test for $100, about 1/4 of the going rate. Home Energy Loss Professionals were the contractor hired by Retro Fit Baltimore to perform the test. Their recommendations after the test suggested about $4000 in various improvements like air sealing around plumbing and electrical pass throughs, substantially increasing the amount of insulation in the attic, sealing around baseboards, wrapping steam and hot water pipes and more. Of that amount, BGE, the local electric company, would reimburse us for about 25% of the cost. The crew from Home Energy Loss Professional arrived to begin work and were very conscientious. They sought out and fixed numerous things that had not initially revealed themselves. During their two days here each crew member commented at one time or another that we would notice a marked improvement in the livability of the house. I was skeptical. They were also very kind to and tolerant of my two dogs who can be somewhat annoying. After the job was complete, it quickly became obvious that they had not exaggerated the improvement in the livability of the house. The difference was remarkable. I can't wait to see the difference in our energy bills. This whole program and this company in particular, Home Energy Loss Professional (H.E.L.P.), gets my highest recommendation.”
