“We bought a new house and wanted a 2 storey extension on the side of the house and extending out the kitchen and lounge at the back of the house. A friend recommended Julian and in turn Julian recommended pretty much every type of contractor and professional we would need to complete our project. This was really helpful as sourcing a reputable architect, structural engineer, quantity surveyor and a team of specialists was a daunting task and not something we expected of Julian. One of the most reassuring parts of the planning phase is how Julian set our budget expectations. This became very apparent very quickly because the other people we initially approached at the same time as Julian pretty much told us what we wanted to hear, whereas Julian took a much more realistic approach. It was an easy choice to go ahead with Julian and we did not regret that decision. He managed all aspects of the project, start to finish and the results are exceptional. We have no hesitation in recommending Julian and JNR Construction.”

“I was recommended Pavilion Property Holdings by my QS (Gary Boyle) when the initial contractor on my first new build - The Coach House / Sale was suddenly too busy to commit at the last minute. As the property had already been sold off plan, both cost and time were critical plus being a design-led developer, an attention to detail was also important to me. Despite some bad weather, and a few problems sourcing specific products and material price increase (both due to Brexit & Covid), Pavilion PH brought the build in to the agreed budget and also on schedule. On site I found all the trades I encountered knowledgeable, and helpful, none more so than the excellent site manager, Nigel. I also very much enjoyed working with Pavilion's Project Manager (and MD) Masoud who really understood what I was trying to achieve and very much saw the project as a collaboration rather than just another job. While some (very minor) mistake were made along the way - mainly due to the incredible speed the team seem to work - these were immediately rectified without complaint. In all, Pavillion balanced professionalism with friendliness and directly contributed to the huge success of the project - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them - in fact I am hoping to work with them again once planning is granted on my current scheme in Stockport, and we are also looking at a potential JV project back in Sale.”

“As an Architects practice, we are always seeking good building contractors. It is rare to find such a personable building contractor who is also highly professional. Our project involved the refurbishment and alteration of residential property, which was a Grade 2 listed building. Our aim was to provide a luxurious open plan living space with crisp, modern finishes set within the traditional Victorian Gothic style former school house. This aim was definitely achieved and was made much easier by working with a building contractor such as AJ Field Developments. It was clear that attention to detail and the clients' best interests where always at the forefront. Any site issues were brought to our attention promptly and dealt with professionally, which lead to highly successful project and an extremely satisfied client. “Thank you again for the excellent work done in fitting the bi-fold doors to our dining room. From the initial contact the service has been professional, friendly, on time and tidy! It was reassuring to be able to see the qualified structural engineer's full set of calculations prior to the start of works, which added to our confidence even more. The quality of the doors is excellent, the plastering perfect.. The quality of the finishing touches - such as the re-worked threshold, fitment of a very high quality vertical radiator, and re-positioning of a wall mounted TV (inc. aerial & electrical points) - was second to none. We would recommend Roger / GreenBird Properties without hesitation.”

“I needed an extension done on the rear of my house, Rhoden builders were recommended by a friend and I’m so happy I took up the offer to use them. They are very polite and efficient in their service. The price and time quoted was a deal. It did went a week over schedule which turns out to be the fault of the builders merchant delivery time due to the pandemic and supply chain. Overall, I’m over the moon with the job done and will definitely be using them again.”
