I never would have thought to work with an interior designer. My husband suggested it and boy am I glad we did! Nicola is amazing as you will see from the before and after's below. She has such vision and thinks outside the box, but also works in with your vision making the process a fun and high value one. I have used Nicola for a number of projects and highly value the work she has done for me. Nicola was recommended to us by the owners of the property we purchased in 2017 and after researching some of her more current work online, we sought her assistance in modernising the kitchen/dining/family room area whilst keeping to the character of the house, as well as advising us on “freshening up” the rest of the house with regards to the American oak floor, carpets and paint colour. Nicola listened carefully to our requirements and ideas. Her added suggestions and consideration to detail was excellent, and added greatly to the practicality and functionality of the kitchen/dining/family room area, adding greatly to our vision. Being new to Auckland and NZ, Nicola was instrumental in guiding us through the process, and recruited top quality tradespeople on our behalf, who were very good in responding to last minute requests and changes that were added to the job spec, whilst still maintaining, within reason, to the original timeline. Nicola clearly has good relationships with her suppliers and contractors, and is knowledgeable on current products, giving us lots of options and passing on any trade discounts where applicable. Both Nicola and Katherine were prompt at responding to queries and kept us up to date with supply and installation times, and liaising with suppliers on our behalf making the process of renovating less stressful. I really enjoyed working with Nicola. She’s very professional, yet warm and approachable, and I have no hesitation in recommending her.

Nicola helped our daughter and her husband to renovate their home. We were very impressed, and when it came time for us to do a full renovation of our home, we engaged Nicola. She is easy to talk to, easy to work with, happy to work to our budget and very skilled. She knows products well and is very skilled.
