“Aaron's team did a fantastic job transforming our muddy, uncomfortable backyard into an inviting space we truly enjoy. The rear of our property sits under a dense canopy and was unusable for our daughter and dog. The design Aaron & Hadiza envisioned met all our needs, providing multiple seating areas and blending the existing architecture with new elements, all while using a naturalistic but low maintenance planting scheme. We now have a beautiful, modern and safe space for our daughter to play and comfortably entertain 20 guests. The construction process went smoothly. The crew was efficient and used high quality materials while staying within budget. When labor costs exceeded the budget, there was open communication and we were able to find a middle ground. “A wonderful experience from start to finish, not only did they take my notes, my magazine clippings on things I liked yet they developed a wonderful conceptual design for our review following up with the actual transformation of my tired, old, overgrown garden into a wonderful peaceful haven which my family, friends and I enjoy tremendously. The Company was responsive, attentive to our needs, the project was completed before the estimated finish date. We have now hired them to do the maintenance of the property to maintain the integrity of the design and to ensure that our garden looks wonderful for the upcoming years.”

“We came to JMS Design from a referral from our interior designer. We started this project with a dirt lot and everything was built from ground up. We wanted an east coast feeling to our landscape with areas that we could enjoy as well as space for the kids to play. This was achieved through the pool and knot garden areas. Also the entertainment pool house has been a big hit with the outdoor tv and adjacent barbecue being used regularly. The installation went smoothly and we enjoy the plantings and bluestone and brick paving.”

“I would give Bret 5 stars! The quote was adherred to the project, the clean up after work was completed, the choice of plants was perfect ans on.y 1 small one had to be replaced which was done and the overall design was beautiful and met my vision! My timing with workers had to be flexible as I had simultaneous projects going on and Bret acconmmodated for this without frustration. All items remain healthy and many stop to compliment the work. I would highly reccommend Gravel and Green.”

“We wanted a change to our rather pedestrian front lawn. We were recommended to Urban Oasis by a satisfied friend. Essentially, we wanted a grassless front lawn with herbs - drought resistant plants - rocks and gravel artistically placed with some color highlights and an overall feeling of serenity. We reviewed some lawns that we liked and Urban Oasis came up with a unique design that met our needs but was cost effective. Debbie G. submitted drawings and estimates. Her crews were superb. She worked right along with the gardeners and supervised the tree trimmers, etc., Project came in under estimate..”

“I have used Isabel now on two projects. The first was a landscaping design for a Custom Home in Beverly Hills and the second was a Condominium Planter Re-design. Both projects turned out very well and I would recommend Isabel to anyone looking to create a landscape plan for anything from a high end custom estate home to a family style condo project. She is professional, easy to work with, and has good design instincts about each project she works on. She also is mindful of staying within a budget and the individual spending limits of her clients.”
