“We had a great experience with Barski Hardscaping. The paver patio and pergola they built look fantastic and have held up great. Brandon worked through cold winter days to get this project done but never cut corners. It was a pleasure to work with him and I don't hesitate to recommend his company to neighbors and friends.”

Falling Waters Ohio LLC Landscaping
Landscape Contractors & Gardeners in Berea, OH
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars3 November 2014
“These guys are awesome! They built a pondless waterfall and koi pond with lighting and surrounding landscaping. They also brought some of the stone used for the waterfall into the yard as well as added sandstone steps to transition from the pool deck to the back yard. Loved Kevin's ideas and of course the finished product is more beautiful than we imagined. They were here and done when they said they would be. They were respectful, clean and charged a fair price. Pictures of the job are already out there under koi pond although they don't do it justice. I would highly recommend them.”

A New Image Landscape, Inc.
Landscape Contractors & Gardeners in Berea, OH
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars9 January 2015
“We hired A New Image to landscape our yard that was already over 30 years old. We had a large bed of mulch and river rock in front that served no purpose and made the width of the yard look narrow. We wanted to convert it to grass. The mulch bed on the opposite side of the driveway needed work because three pine trees had been removed, but still had their root systems intact which were going to have to come out. We also had boulders that needed to be transferred to the back yard and river rock that needed to be moved to other parts of the yard. including creating a river bed for better drainage. Included was mulching and deep edging all beds front and back. We contacted three companies for estimates. The one company was almost double New Image's estimate and the second company never followed through with an estimate. New Image not only had the best price, they were very responsive, showed up on time, and adjusted the landscape plan when we made last minute changes. We appreciated that Neil, the owner of New Image, not only supervised the job, but ran the equipment and stayed until the job was done. Neil also kept us abreast of all details throughout the day. A New Image went above and beyond what we expected. For example, we had areas along our back yard that needed clean dirt fill and grass seed which was not in the contract. Neil's crew took it upon themselves fix those low areas for us. The entire crew was very professional, very courteous and finished the job on time. Neil brought a large crew that completed the work in a matter of hours and did a great job of cleaning up afterward. We also can't say enough about Deanna, Neil's wife and office manager. She continues to be very friendly and responsive to our calls and questions. We love the end result and plan to call them back for some additional landscaping in the future.”
Lifestyle Landscaping, Inc.

“Lifestyle Landscaping has developed a style of design that emphasizes the naturalistic blending of stone, wood, and plant in a clean unique arrangement. There is a comfortable blend of both the strong and the soft. I was able to be a garden judge during some of the largest of Cleveland's indoor home and flower shows, and many of the submissions that I discovered were done by Lifestyle still stay fresh in my mind, where as the creations by others have long faded away. I have seen a good amount of their actual work subsequently, and the inspired creativity of Lifestyle designers like Kevin O'Brien always shines through his work. Homeowner's are making a right choice when they select to have a Lifestyle touch around their residence. William Healy, APLD”
Thompson Landscape and Design

“I needed to create some privacy and block out my "great" view of the neighbor's expanded garage. But our local building code restricts fences to a 6 foot height. Brian Thompson suggested a "green fence". I agreed but would have tried the common homeowner mistake of planting a simple row of affordably puny evergreens. Thompson came up with two unusual suggestions: a western arbor vitae and an amur maackia. I pressed him to explain his rationale. Brian held class: Evergreens grow slowly and big trees are his specialty. He pointed out two large arbor vitaes next door. Only a third 15+ ft specimen would visualy connect and blur the property line. Our new tree would feature reddish bark to compliment the brown and yellow garage backdrop. Our home is sited to block early morning sun to both trees. Any evergreen would prefer full sun. Planting the deciduous maackia to the west still provides maximum sun to the arbor vitae during shorter daylight hours of both the Spring and Fall."The maackia obscures nothing after Fall" I objected. I was assured that the maackia's blooms and leaves are on display whenever Ohio's weather invites us to spend hours out on the patio. Installation? It was a jaw-dropping 2 hour heavy equiptment ballet. Gentle enough that a tiny bird's nest remained intact in the tree.”
