“We hired R&R to build a 1,900 sqft deck, outdoor kitchen and seating area. The team was outstanding! I can't say enough great things about these guys. They were clear about what they were going to do, when they were going to do it, and then in the end, it all happened as they said it would. The entire team was fantastic to work with. They came with great ideas and delivered for us every step of the way. If you are looking to remodel your backyard, look no further - this is your team. Choose anyone else at your own risk. Ron and the team are by far the best contractors I've ever worked with. Plus they are great guys on top of it, which makes the process move so much more smoothly. We never had to chase anyone down or wonder when anything was going to happen. They were great communicators throughout the entire project and we absolutely love our new backyard. Highly recommend working with them!”

“San Jose Tree Service is amazing! They were punctual and professional. Noe was easy to work with - he had great ideas but also accommodated our ideas. Our project was unique - it was 2 adjoining neighbors' yards with a bocce court in the middle. They executed our plan perfectly! We love the results and we loved working with Noe, Jose, Robert and the whole team!”

“Southbay Design & Landscaping redid our backyard over 4 years ago, and have been maintaining it ever since. They are very responsive to any requests we have and are thorough in the maintenance of our yard. I appreciate that they will plant new plants for us if we pick them up and have given advice on what kind of plants work around our yard. They even help out by fixing our sprinklers without us asking (we actually hadn’t realized it was broken but were suspicious of why the grass wasn’t growing well in one spot). We appreciate their professionalism and good work.”

“Elaine and her hardworking crew did an incredible job transforming my front and back yard to beautiful places where I now wanted to spend more time there. Endowed with oriental background with years of working experience in the west, Elaine has a very unique and artistic eye that I can rarely find in other designs's. Infused with her great taste, my yard turned into a piece of art work. Elaine kept the process clear and stayed communicative and responsive throughout the project. Before the project started, she collected my preference and listened patiently to my requests, and also shared her ideas and visions to me. With a deep understanding of her client's requests and a rich professional knowledge , she soon turned our discussion to a solid proposal, followed by high-quality and efficient labor work monitored by herself. I'm completely satisfied with the work.”

Steven was very respectful of our time, requirements and presented multiple design options to us and the cost tradeoffs. Steven was also kind enough to make multiple trips to allow us time to converge on the design. We are very happy with the tiled option that we eventually settled on and the workmanship of his crew exceeded our expectations. Since our first encounter I immmediately knew he and his team were the type of fellow trademen I admire and respect. We share the same work ethic and commitment to excellence and don’t settle until both client and contractor are happy. Since our first meeting until today we have continuously referred each other and produced happy clients on separate home improvement fronts. They have even worked on my family member’s homes and afterwards I heard nothing but high praise for their excellent work. They are my go-to company when I think of anything that has to do with the outdoors. “For the last few months, my wife and I were considering updating our yard. The idea originally was to freshen up the space with some plants and possibly do some hard-scape as well. We spoke to a couple of landscape contractors but truthfully weren't convinced. Sometime went by and a neighbor suggested to contact A&E Landscapes. This neighbor had had work done by them in the past and was very pleased with the workmanship and final product. I contacted them and spoke to a lady by the name of Ana. She was very pleasant and had a number of questions. We ended the call by agreeing to meet so she can have a better understanding of my wife and I ideas of the project. A day or so went by and we met. I was very surprise how Ana made me feel at ease. She was very detailed on her explanation and very resourceful with blue prints, pictures of current and past projects. Fast forward to now and I am happy to say that the vision my wife and I had for our backyard was met above and beyond! I couldn't say enough about this company. Well done, really.”

“As a professional landscape designer, I don't trust just anyone to install my designs, and I'm wary when working with a contractor for the first time. But when my VIP clients needed a swimming pool with spa and waterfall, stone patios and seatwalls, cedar arbors, a built-in BBQ, lighting, plantings, a putting green... the works!... I invited Jeff Veliquette of Lifescape to bid, based on similar projects in his portfolio. My clients ultimately hired Lifescape -- and man, am I glad they did! It was an ambitious design with lots of opportunities for failure... and Lifescape turned it into a stunning success. Somehow Jeff not only kept track of countless details and changes, he and his crew executed them to an extremely high degree of finish. They truly take personal pride in a job well done, and obviously understand the meaning (and value) of terrific client service. Jeff also has great vision, and I was completely comfortable entrusting him to develop my ideas into a beautiful reality. Lifescape's foreman was a consummate professional as well, handling even my unreasonable requests with grace and good humor. All of us are delighted with the outcome of this project; and wary no more, I will be recommending Jeff to install more of my designs in the future.”
