Cameron designed our home reno for us in 2015, and project managed the reno with the builder he introduced us to, Graham from GL Stevenson Builders. We loved working with them, Cameron is a great listener, very professional and personable. His experience and planning and was excellent, and he created highly detailed plans for the builder to follow with no issues. Cameron kept in touch with us regularly, we enjoyed the finished reno for many years. We would highly recommend him!

Cameron from Dwelling Architect Design is such an approachable person who listened to our brief and goals for how we wanted to live in our house, he brought to life our ideas into a fantastic design that captures all that we wanted with some amazing design features that really sets it off. This is the first time we have had plans drawn up and Cameron clearly explained the process and different options available, answering questions and making it an enjoyable process.

I worked with Dwelling Architecture on a split level residence on a sloping section comprising of various material from stack bond concrete block, shadow clad ply and profiled metal cladding. Feature work with acoustic melamine ceiling and another wall in the stairwell set this house apart with negative details breaking it up. I found the plans easy to read with numerous detail and cross sections. Dwelling architecture were great to work with and there was no problem with any part of the design not being able to be carried out on site. They were easy to approach and quickly resolved any questions posed to them. I would highly recommend Cameron and his team and look forward to working with him more in the future

Cameron designed our first new home for us around four years ago. From the first meeting we found Cameron to be professional, a good listener and very personable. He was throughout the project extremely passionate, thorough and focused on achieving a great result. He was respectful and accommodating of our input. His attention to detail was second to none. The house plan details were so impressive. Our builder commented that he has always liked building from Cameron's plans for this reason. Cameron Grindlay at Dwelling Architectural Design prepared plans for our two storey house renovation which has just recently been completed. Cameron provided us with a set of concept plans that accurately reflected what we asked for in the project brief, followed by a comprehensive set of plans for building consent and provided ongoing project management support for the build. He was fantastic to deal with and has provided a very high standard of architectural design throughout the process.

Cameron of Dwellling Architectural Design was great to deal with; always professional and attentive. We had no real idea of how we wanted our house to look, but had a list of practical needs and wants; Cameron designed us an amazing house that was beyond our dreams. We've been in our new home for just over a year now and we love it. We still can't believe it is our house! It has so many interesting angles, colours and features and is very comfortable for our family to live in. Also, the energy saving options which were incorporated have cut our heating and power bills to less than a third that of our previous, smaller house. Cameron designed a new home for us. He engaged other professionals to work with on structural elements to make this a seamless process. He was extremely easy to deal with and listened to what we wanted and converted our ideas into a beautiful and functional home that met our requirements. He understood that a plan does not always convert to a vision for most people and provided 3D images to help with our discussions and explain many of the detailed features included. During the course of the build any idea changes that we thought of were welcomed for discussion and he worked well with the builder to incorporate these into our original plan and have our home completed within a very reasonable timeframe.

A kitchen addition to a 100 year old Californian bungalow. Addition of an upstairs ensuite. Revamping of downstairs bathroom. Excellent in all respects. He even accompanied me to get consents. Creative, practical, Excellent plans, The best the builder had seen. Very economical Ex value for money Ex follow up. Ex timing.

Service provided was design, detailed drawing and consenting of an extension to our existing house including living room, bathroom and deck, all with wheelchair accessible elements. Liaison with building contractor as required. Experience was extremely positive, design met our needs, builders found it complete/easy to read and the finished build is fantastic. Highly recommended.
