Our bench is stunning - we absolutely love it! The resin finish is beautiful - highlights the natural wood colours and feels so smooth. Their service and was excellent and we appreciated getting the bench completed in time for Christmas. We’re so happy we opted for The Woodsmiths, given how far away they are. That didn’t prove to be a barrier with safe and reasonable delivery and good communication.

We had our kitchen go through a complete "make-over" by Advanced Joinery in Christchurch and as part of this remake it was decided to add a Breakfast Bar extension to the end of our Stone bench top - this was manufactured by The Woodsmiths and is just beautiful - the finish on the American Oak looks stunning and feels amazing. They provided a great little "Care Kit" which I have been using regularly and love the way it feels!. Was even more "blown away" when I received by Courier a gorgeous Carving knife as a Thank You gift for completing the Warranty Form and returning it along with some photos of their beautiful timber bench top. Such a fabulous gift to receive so unexpectedly - so THANK YOU!! I'd highly recommend The Woodsmiths for their beautiful craftmanship.

A lovely piece of Rimu timber, very well laminated and protected with resin. This has been down six months now and while we are careful with how we use it, it still looks like the day it was installed. We get lots of comments on it and most people (as well as just ) can’t resist running their hands over it. The piece has met our expectations so thank you and well done. Basil

The Woodsmiths provided us with a bamboo benchtop for our kitchen renovation. Apart from the quality of the finished proudct - which is amazing. We were also so happy with the service we received from the team at The Woodsmiths. It was a large purchase for us and they were very patient with our questions and also flexible to some requests around delivery. The workmanship on the benchtop itself is exquisite and it really finishes our kitchen - we love it.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to your team for being involved in making the solid wood components of our kitchen. It takes pride of place in our house just like heirloom piece of furniture. We absolutely love , it certainly makes us more house proud. The workmanship is outstanding and surely is a thing of beauty. We contacted The Woodsmiths initially for help in repairing our island top which was " marking" badly. The top had been made by another company. Tony visited reassuring us that they would repair not only the marking, but also the " warping" at the front edge that we thought would be irreparable. Daryl delivered our top back and when he unwrapped it I couldn't believe it was the same .one,They had transformed it and taken it to another level in quality, it looked absolutely amazing. We have a breakfast bar/bench cap made out of macracarpa to match the flooring in our house. We are very pleased with the shape, woodgrain, finish and the installation was perfect. The finish is easy to care for and has shown to be scratch and mark resistant. Very happy to recommend The Woodsmiths to anyone.
