We found the team at Four Walls Architecture a pleasure to work with on what was essentially a rebuild of our home in Takapuna. Amy really listened to our ideas and came back with concepts that delivered on our brief and more. She found creative solutions for tricky aspects of the project and we really enjoyed collaborating with her throughout the process. We would highly recommend them.

We have just completed a renovation (virtually complete rebuild) of our home in Freemans Bay, in Auckland. Amy Hendry and her team at Four Walls were responsible for all aspects of the design, consenting and oversight through to completion. We recommend them unreservedly. We engaged Claire from Four Walls to guide us through an extensive renovation of our 100yr old bungalow in Khandallah, Wellington From concept drawings, to the full range of documents required for consenting, to the ongoing input and support over the months of the build, the service we've received has exceeded our expectations. We have been greatly impressed by the ideas, practical advice and guidance that we have received plus the innovative solutions which really have balanced our brief and our budget. The result is better than we thought was possible when we started out! The design, build and furnishing of our house has been made so much easier and better with input from Four Walls so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them

Four Walls Architecture developed plans for an extensive renovation we have undertaken on our Villa in Grey Lynn, Auckland. We tasked Four Walls with the job after a previously engaged Architectural Designer was unable to achieve the outcome we were after. The entire process has been excellent. Claire who was our primary contact for the job is a strong collaborator, takes a very thorough approach to her work, has great design ideas and understands how to achieve the best possible outcome within the confines of Council Heritage guidelines. Every builder we had tender for the job made unprompted positive comments on the quality of the plans and level of detail included in them. Would recommend the team at Four Walls to anyone.

We have been working with Four Walls Architecture for 15 months on a large residential renovation. We have been extremely fortunate to have Amy and Claire working on our project. They are both amazing individuals. Amy and Claire have provided us with fantastic ideas that look good & feel great. They have listened to the way we live our lives in our home, to ensure both a superb functional & aesthetic result. From concept plans, to building & resource consent, to helping manage the project through to completion, nothing is too much trouble. I have been building houses for 20 years now and worked with many different architects and designers during this time. I have had the pleasure of completing an amazing clifftop home created by Amy and more recently in building her own home. We always found Amy a pleasure to deal with in every way. Amy provided us with exactly the information we needed, promptly when we needed it. She is a creative problem solver and works well with the many different types of people who are on site. Amy has attention to detail, is informative and obliging and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

Four Walls Architecture designed a large contemporary home for us on a site situated in Westmere, Auckland. They carried out the conceptual design work, assisted with the resource consent application and completed the detailed design and building consent application. Our brief was quite specific in regards to the general look we were trying to achieve, the size and layout of the home, the use of low maintenance materials and a high degree of energy efficiency. The design process was a very pleasant experience and Four Walls was always open to discussing any ideas or opinions we had and incorporating them into the design accordingly. The home is currently being built and it is great seeing how the ideas are being transformed from plans and computer models to a physical form. The way it is turning out has exceeded our expectations in a number of ways and it is truly turning out to be our dream home! Four Walls has continued to be very helpful and provide assistance to both us and the builder in a timely manner during the building process. I have already recommended them to another family member who is using them for an extensive renovation in Herne Bay and would certainly not hesitate recommending them to anyone else, or to use them again.
