I was thinking that because the Trubridge lights are so beautiful, a simple LED pendant light would be best as they do the job without taking away from the beautiful light!

~$400 including expedited shipping. My GC just had his regular countertop guy do them, which wasn't great.... he had trouble making clean cuts. If I were going to do it again I would have pressed for someone with expertise to cut them. You can see in the image that the facing is not made of the stone peak, because too much was broken during the cutting to make the mitered edge. I'm a little bummed, but mostly pleased with the surface (which is the important part) thus far.

Well I do love a great fire at night but I also love the sun the streams into my house on a clear blue sky summers day. I think the contrast of winter helps us appreciate summer even more but then I can also say that winter in Wellington is not that bad and we even look forward to a bit of snow. One of the thrills would be looking at the snow on our local mountain ranges.... a joy that we receive only a few times a year.

Mine is my living room - calm, sunny, relaxing, full of treasures (including my animals) and a cozy fire in the winter. The view is also amazing from my large comfortable arm chair.
