Tips to replace a wardrobe screen?

My wardrobe screen needs a facelift, it currently has a mirror finish and takes up the whole length of the room, similar to the following pic:

I'm thinking of keeping some or all of the wardrobe exposed but feel like it could look too messy.

Please comment with any tips I should consider!

I arrange my clothes according to colours. So organising clothes in colours might make things look neater.

I'd say keep the mirror! It opens up the space and hides the clutter

well, unless you want to spend a lot of time keeping the clothes sorted according to colour, hanging neatly etc, keep it hidden! Mirrors look great.
