I moved in 8 weeks ago to a town house in Belfast Northern Ireland, it's a 1950's and I've had my work cut out for me taking this on! The walls had 2 layers of paper from ceiling to floor, and under the carpet is the original rubber tiles .. Yes rubber tiles!! Nightmare to remove from a solid floor. So once stripped the walls looked so bad so I've re plastered them, taken the original lighting down and added spotlights to create space I love classic with a stroke of contemporary, although after deciding finally in paint it didn't turn out the colour I wanted so adding colour I've struggled, I've still my windows to dress and my art to hang as well as adding some plants, but I think I've done we'll considering I only moved in 8 weeks ago!
Any ideas for colour are welcome or any feed back, but here us some before and after pics for you to see
