Kitchen Plan Advice

I need to finalize a kitchen plan for a new build and was wondering if anyone had any opinions/advice/amendments for this plan?

Great to see your thoughts around functionality in the planning stage of your kitchen. If you would like a few idea's on how to make your new kitchen practical you can have a look at DYNAMIC SPACE - Blum's ideas for practical kitchens online or I can send you a print or PDF brochure.

I think your worries are right as well, dark carpet and a dark bench would be too much darkness - a lighter benchtop would work well with the other colours! Comments (3)In my opinion I perfer option 2 from the perspective of enjoying the sun in the evening and having the option of entertaining more so in the evening given the sun and house orientation. See you have a couple bi-fold doors in the living room so assume this leads out to a deck or some outdoor area for entertaining. Also the 3 main bedrooms will get the morning sun so will warm up till midday/early afternoon. Some something to note that Bedroom 4 in both options would likely be the coldest room in the house so probably some heating options would be required for this room. Hi Emma,
They are custom from 900-1200 mm cabinet size i.e. equal fronts around 300-600 mm however the most common cabinet size NZ is 1050 mm. Are you in Auckland or Christchurch so you can see them in person? Best to also speak to your cabinet maker, designer or kitchen manufacturer regarding the options.
