I don't think big tiles make a room ook bigger (sometimes even the opposite). Color, light, contrasts and even texture does. Pick the tiles you really like and find a grout color that will look good with all the tiles and colors you pick.

If vertically fits perfectly then I would probably do that. As it's a feature wall and the others are in a standard subway pattern I'm sure it would still look good, as, in my opinion, the less cuts and grout in a shower situation the better.

Trying to decide on tile size for splashback, white tile dark grout, large area. 4x4 or 6x6, scared it might look dated 6x6?

Hey everyone! So I moved into a new place 3 weeks ago and the last owners updated the toilet tiles but failed to remove the excess grout which has left a haze. They are shiny white subway tiles so need to be careful with whatever I use. Any ideas how to remove this grout haze without damaging the tiles? Thanks :)
