Backsplash ideas
I am having trouble deciding on a backsplash for the kitchen. I want the ki to be the more focal point and don’t want the backsplash to compete or creat chaos with the granite. My first choice is a muted brick color in earth tones, but I’m open to suggestions!! I also wanted to incorporate the backsplash behind the stove ( the empty area in photo) but the arch doorways are challenging. The stove is a 6 burner five star and it will have a stainless range hood above it Help!!

Comments (15)That's a fabulous idea. I don't like that front board but it's lacquered to coordinate with the cupboards, so ot couldn't be painted . I could keep the stools and improve the hated kickboard. That would be a double win. Although a lower back would be nice. Comments (4)Thanks courtney. it's all finished and we love it. We chose a white glass back splash which really helps to brighten up the space. On a sunny day it's so bright I pull the blinds down lol! the photo looks alot colder than it is too. It's taken on my phone so not the best....See More- 8 years ago

8 years agoI think framing the tile out with a Schluter or Smart Edge Brillo edging material just up to the level of the stainless range hood will look great.
