Comments (1)1. Turn over the frames so you are looking at the back. Make sure the hangers are attached correctly. I've had some where it was put on crooked which throws everything off. 2. Line up the frames in the order you want them--spacing etc. 3. Double check the order and spacing. 4, Run masking tape the full width of the group. (If 5 frames, run across all five, maintaining spacing, etc.) Insert nail to puncture the tape. 5. Remove nails; carefuly remove tape and put on wall. 6. Center; level and done...See Moreneed help with my living room wall decor, and the double door , thanks
Comments (3)What a fun space! Love the pillows...I agree with above, lower all the frames, but not so low little ones can reach. The art should fall at eye level about 5'4" for walls and for behind the sofa not more than 12" above it. Then keep the width about 5" inside the sofa length on each side. Your frames are small so you need the close together for impact. I would start with some pretty curtains for the door and large window and then a simple Roman shade for the small window- since your girls play there you don't want anything they will grab hold of. http://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/query/how-to-hang-a-photo-gallery...See MoreWindow treatment for A-frame house
Comments (0)Looking for some advice on what to do with our A-frame house bedroom windows. Currently, there is a curtain track that goes across the window, but it leaves the top of the triangle uncovered - which isn't ideal when the sun comes up at 5am in summer! Any suggestions on what kind of window treatments might work? We don't want to permanently cover the top triangle, so looking for a solution that would allow us to cover (and uncover) the entire window....See Morepicture hanging
Comments (1)The best way to do this is to choose a theme for the frames - it could be black or white, or natural timber (or even a mix if you're putting them on a plain wall) Make sure the frames have a variety of sizes. Then lay them on the floor to decide your layout - take a photo! That way when you start putting them up you won't forget what goes where. Don't have them spaced too far apart - 50mm is plenty. Good Luck!...See Moretorreykm
